PADI Open Water Diver Course – Sharm El Sheikh

Start your journey into the underwater world with the PADI Open Water Diver Course in Sharm El Sheikh.

No previous scuba-diving experience is required. The course is designed to teach you the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to become a certified recreational scuba diver.

The course begins with knowledge development, where you learn important diving principles, equipment, terminology, safety procedures and dive planning. This can be completed through PADI eLearning or with your instructor, depending on the selected course format.

You then move into confined-water training, normally in a swimming pool or shallow water with pool-like conditions. Here you learn and practice essential scuba skills under the direct supervision of your instructor.

Once you are ready, you complete 4 open-water dives in the Red Sea. During these dives, you put your training into practice while exploring the spectacular underwater environment with your instructor.

After successfully completing all course requirements, you receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to continue your diving adventures around the world within the certification limits. The maximum depth for a PADI Open Water Diver is 18 metres / 60 feet.
